2017 Neon Desert Music Festival - VIP Experience

Neon Desert Music Festival was a [pre-pandemic] yearly music festival that took place in Downtown El Paso. My business was asked to participate in the VIP section and to provide an “instagrammable” experience. Considering my love of immersive experiences, I designed a festival hideaway in “Mom’s Backyard” - an oasis from the busy music festival where VIPs could kick back and relax in one of our neon backyard tents, escape the sun under one of our neon fringe canopies or have a fireside convo by a comfy fire made of pillows!

For the 3-day festival, I designed the experience that my team and I built from scratch. We even created an exclusive festival menu featuring vegan chickpea sandwiches and japanese-style shaved ice with homemade syrups, along with festival-only flavor juices and lemonades.

Initial concept was to build an open-air frame for people to pass through and rest if they'd like but in an open-air space.
