Seasoned. Entrepreneurial. Dynamic.

Squeeze the Day.

It turns out, you learn A LOT when you own a business. From customer service to website building to learning how to roll a falafel wrap, the lessons were plentiful. The most important of which and the one that has stuck with me after the fact - Squeeze The Day aka making the most of whatever the day brings.

Exploring ideas without imaginative restraint and taking an idea from concept to deliverable taught me how to unlock the potential of my team and create a working environment that was fun and functional. I look forward to bringing that same energy to any and all projects I’m lucky to contribute to.

Personally, I’m a nerd. I love comics, reading, board games, irreverent cartoon comedy, nostalgia and reinvention. My Persian/Mexican family instilled an entrepreneurial spirit in me and while it persists, I’ve always leaned to the more creative side of life: acting, singing, designing, creating with wit and humor and building environments with the curiosity of a kid. One of the most important things to me in life is to remember to stay curious and keep growing.

My CV

I’ve been involved in a variety of creative ventures over the years. As a kid, I acted/modeled in many local commercials for television and radio. In my young adulthood, I had leading roles in many musical theatre productions with the local community theatre and the university dinner theatre. I went from an intern at a local magazine to starting my own online publication in 2010, which included an early interview with Beto O’Rourke. I moved to NYC to work as an assistant to a (one-person) PR firm who helped coordinate the US launch of a major Spanish fashion house before moving back home to open a juice shop. ‘All over the map’ doesn’t begin to describe it but I’m thinking ‘multi-faceted’ works just right.
